It's Tuesday, and that means a video release.

Among other things, I found my very first musketball.

1st Installment of MAIL CALL (I open viewers mail)

It was inevitable.  I received my first viewer package in the mail.

A while back he posted a video in which he dug up a "Canada Dry" lighter.  I thought it was pretty cool, so I commented on his video.  Well, he sent it to me !!!

I was thrilled, and you can see my honest emotions in my video.

In today's video release, I reattended the "victorian pasture" along with my digging buddy Kelly.

Metal detecting finds included a 1876 Canadian Large Cent and a Cannetille gold wire ring (among other things).

Next week's weather looks promising.  I am hoping to get out and get that first dig of 2017 under my belt.

This unit retails for $719 plus tax in Canada.  However I purchased it for a phenomenal price from an estate sale.  It was never been used, and apart from the original box that is missing - it is complete.  It came with 8 Duracell rechargeable batteries.  I use the same batteries in my Garrett AT Pro and have found them to long lasting between charges.

I have not had the opportunity to swing this detector yet and am looking forward to the first hunt of the spring.  No doubt that between the MX5 and the AT Pro, I should be able to thoroughly search most sites.
