TIP / GEAR DAY - Lesche Sampson Shovel

Today I decided to write about a very critical piece of metal detecting equipment - the shovel.

Let me introduce you to the LESCHE SAMPSON:

This is a beautifully designed and built shovel.

Here are the specs:

T- Handle
Blade length: 7 1/2"
Blade Width: 4"
Overall length: 31"
Weight: 2.5 Lbs

Here's why I like and recommend it:

  • Very light and compact/indiscript
  • The public views it as a digger and not a big shovel
  • Carves through the toughest roots.
  • Very strong - Thor would have problems bending it
  • The T-handle is extremely comfortable
  • Perfect size, you can even use it while kneeling
I don't see any "cons" to owning this.  It is expensive for Canadians when you figure in the exchange rate.  But then no one sells this in Canada.  If you come across a used one for sale GRAB IT.

That's it for today.

Remember to KEEP IT REAL
